Why Support TEAM?

Since 2012, hundreds of homeless and abused dogs have been welcomed into our rescue. With your support, TEAM Dog Rescue will be able to continue its mission to provide education and outreach in the community, emergency medical services for dogs in crisis, to provide safe shelter for abandoned senior dogs, and strong adoption programs to ensure that every homeless dog lives in a safe and loving home.

About TEAM Dog Rescue

TEAM Dog Rescue (TEAM) is a volunteer & foster-based dog rescue located in Toronto (GTA). We are a Registered Canadian Charity dedicated to helping homeless dogs find their forever homes. Our focus is to rescue dogs from overcrowded and high-kill shelters in Ontario and Quebec, as well as partner with the IFAW Northern Dog Project. Our team has been involved with international rescue and has partnered with worldwide reputable rescues to find displaced dogs homes in Ontario.

TEAM works hard to match each dog with the perfect foster and adoptive home to ensure that the specific needs of both the animal and family are met. We accept many medically-challenged and senior dogs into our care and by partnering with vets and specialists across the province we ensure these dogs are as healthy as possible prior to adoption.

Our goal is to educate, end cruelty and fight the stigma placed on rescue dogs. We want people to know that there are better alternatives to breeders and online classifieds when considering adding a pet to their family.

TEAM started the #THINKRESCUE campaign, which has gone viral.

The #THINKRESCUE campaign was born out of a need to change the perception of rescue dogs as inferior pets
